Meet Our Chairmen

Caroll H. Neubauer

Caroll Heinz Neubauer is a recently retired member of the global Management Board of the B. Braun Melsungen Group of Companies. Mr. Neubauer oversaw the North America operations from Bethlehem, PA, where he served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of B. Braun of America Inc.

Mr. Neubauer served B. Braun for more than 30 years. In 1991, he was elected to the Management Board of B. Braun Melsungen AG and appointed General Counsel for the B. Braun group. Prior to that, he was the Head of the Legal, Security and Environmental Matters Departments for B. Braun Melsungen AG. Mr. Neubauer began his career with B. Braun in 1988 at B. Braun Melsungen AG, where he served as Legal Assistant to the Chairman of the Board and principal of the company.

Mr. Neubauer is, inter alia, since 2004 a Member of the Board of the German American Chamber of Commerce New York, from 2006 – 2019 as Chairman. He is a member of the Board of Directors of AdvaMed. He also serves as a member of the President’s Advisory Group of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Member of the Board of the Medical Device Innovation Consortium (MDIC).

Mr. Neubauer was born in New Jersey, and completed his schooling in both the United States and Germany. He earned a German Law Degree from The Albert Ludwigs University, Freiburg, Germany in 1983. Mr. Neubauer earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Georgetown University in 1987.

Neil Fraser

Neil Fraser is the President of Medtronic Canada and Regional Vice-President –
Canada, Medtronic plc, one of the largest medical technology, services and solutions companies in the world. He is Co-chair of AdvaMed’s The Virtual MedTech Conference 2020, past chair of Medtech Canada, a Board Member of Baycrest Health Sciences and a Member of the Federal Health and Biosciences Economic Strategy Table (ISED/Health). In 2014, he was a Member of the federal Advisory Panel on Healthcare Innovation (the “Naylor report”) and the Ontario Health Innovation Council. He has numerous publications on the topic of health care innovation in Canada and is a frequent speaker on the topics of value based
procurement and outcomes-based health care.
