We welcome students and recent graduates who want to explore the medical technology industry to join in on the excitement of The MedTech Conference.
From a pre‑conference webinar to help you prepare, to an onsite orientation that helps you get your bearings, the experience is designed to remove the guesswork and make it easy to dive in with confidence.
Inside the Next Gen HQ, you’ll find structured programming, dedicated networking opportunities, and a welcoming home base on the exhibit floor. Beyond the HQ, you’ll have full access to all conference sessions, exhibitors, and receptions—giving you the freedom to shape your own experience.

How do i Participate?
- I am registering independently:
- Register Online
- Select ‘Student’
- Pay the $100 Fee
- Your registration will then be reviewed by staff and you should receive a confirmation within 5 business days of your application.
- I am registering myself and a group of my peers (Student Led Groups, etc.)
- Email Sarah Maki ([email protected]) to learn more about opportunities for group or cohort participation.
- I am registering with a confirmed cohort:
- Register Online
- Select ‘Student’
- Apply the unique registration code provided by your cohort lead.
Do you work with an academic institution and are interested in bringing a cohort? Or have questions about your confirmed cohort’s participation? Email Sarah Maki ([email protected]).
Is there a specific hotel block reserved for students?
There are discounted MedTech Conference room blocks available through registration, but no specific section is designated for Next Gen participants. You may book your hotel once you complete your registration. Visit our housing page for more information.
Are there scholarships available for hotel or travel costs?
Unless you are receiving funding as part of an Industry Partner or Cohort, AdvaMed does not assist in travel or housing costs.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
This event is intended for 21+ participants only. Please email Sarah Maki ([email protected]) if you have questions about your eligibility.
Should I bring my resume to the event?
No, The MedTech Conference is not a career fair. We suggest bringing a physical or virtual business card that allows access to your LinkedIn Profile, portfolio, etc.
Will there be recruiters onsite?
While some companies may have recruiters onsite at the conference, recruiter presence within the Next Gen HQ is not guaranteed. This event is not a career fair, and participants are encouraged to focus on learning, networking, and exploring career paths through a wide range of conversations across the conference.
What is included in my student registration?
All panel sessions and Medtech Campus activities including networking receptions, programming, and pop-up events.
