Small Company

The MedTech Conference fosters an environment that helps propel emerging and early growth medical technology companies to success.

The following opportunities are available for small companies to connect, learn from and engage with key audiences.

AdvaMed Accel Leadership Seminar and Networking Lunch – Monday, October 5, 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

This program is designed for executives of early and emerging growth companies and includes interactive discussions with successful medtech CEOs and their partners sharing lessons on managing innovation and preparing businesses for long-term growth and commercialization. The AdvaMed Accel Leadership Seminar also includes the MedTech Innovator semi-finalist competition for the Execution Award, presented to the company in the Accelerator Program that demonstrates the strongest execution plan and potential.

This program is not an additional registration fee, but space is limited, so please request an invitation to attend during the registration process.

MedTech Connect

Set up one-on-one meetings with potential investors and key stakeholders through MedTech Connect, the conference’s networking platform to search for attendees and request meetings based on mutually available times. Meetings will take place onsite in the MedTech Connect Zone and the Exhibit Hall. In 2019, 2,250 meetings were scheduled through MedTech Connect, a 34% increase over 2018.

The program allows for a deep dive into the latest financing, policy and regulatory developments in our sector affecting small companies. Attendees are also able to explore new data and best practices from leading companies like EY and Deloitte, and learn from industry peers and successful entrepreneurs.

Innovation Pavilion

At the Innovation Pavilion in the Exhibit Hall, medtech trailblazers demo their models and prototypes. In 2019, there were 20 companies in the Innovation Pavilion, representing the MedTech Innovator program, AdvaMed Accel members, JLABS and the National Institutes of Health.
