Call for Sessions: Tips to Submit a Quality Proposal for #MTC26

Each fall, The MedTech Conference, hosted by AdvaMed, brings the medtech community together in one place to exchange ideas, share real-world experience, and connect around the issues shaping health care.

Building on the remarkable energy we saw in San Diego, we’re already leaning into Boston, October 18–21, 2026. With Call for Sessions open until February 20, I wanted to share a few quick tips to help you think about submitting a proposal—and what makes a session truly resonate.

Your Call for Sessions Questions, Answered

Why is The MedTech Conference such an important platform for medtech leaders?

The MedTech Conference is where meaningful industry conversations happen. It brings together leaders from across the ecosystem to share ideas, learn from one another, and explore what’s shaping health care today and tomorrow. If you’re thinking about the future of medtech, this is where your perspective matters.

What does it really mean to organize a session?

Organizing a session is about helping move the conversation forward. It’s a chance to share real-world experience, connect industry leaders, and put forth innovative solutions to some of medtech’s key challenges. Some of the most impactful sessions start with a simple question and lead to new ways of thinking.

What kinds of topics are you hoping to see for #MTC26?

We’re looking for sessions that reflect how interconnected medtech has become. Topics like AI in health care, digital health transformation, global regulatory perspectives, diagnostics innovation, and advances in market access continue to be important—especially when they’re explored through a collaborative, cross-disciplinary lens.

Any advice for making a proposal stand out?

Focus on clarity and relevance.

Compelling proposals identify a clear challenge and outline the practical takeaways attendees can expect. Sessions grounded in real experience and open dialogue among panelists with diverse perspectives tend to resonate most.

What happens after a proposal is submitted?

All submissions are reviewed by our Conference Program Committee. If your session is accepted, our team will work closely with you to refine the content and prepare for a strong, engaging discussion in Boston.

If you left last year’s conference with ideas still taking shape, this is the time to bring them forward.
