Program Committee Application

The MedTech Conference will take place October 18–21, 2026, in Boston, MA. Serving on the Program Committee is an opportunity to help shape the conversations, themes, and content that define the program—and influence the direction of medtech in the year ahead.

The MedTech Conference Program Committee is comprised of industry professionals and AdvaMed content experts with the mission to assist in developing a top-quality and diverse educational program for The MedTech Conference. Committee members will be expected to:  

  • Encourage colleagues to submit proposals  
  • Read all submissions received under the Committee member’s selected track   
  • Evaluate sessions in their selected track in order to provide feedback on session and speaker proposals  
  • Ensure the program reflects sessions that are timely and relevant with diverse and dynamic speakers  
  • Attend all scheduled Committee meetings 

 The MedTech Conference Program Committee will grade proposals independently from February 27 – March 16, 2026, during which time AdvaMed will provide additional instructions and grading guidelines. The Committees will then meet for approximately 90 minutes via Zoom between March 23 – April 10, 2026. The schedule of Program Committee meetings is being finalized. We will provide the specific date and time your Program Track Meeting once your application is reviewed and accepted.

Program Tracks

Covers the medtech industry’s current performance, investment and M&A trends, strategic partnerships, and key policy decisions driving success in medtech. The content of these sessions is relevant for emerging and established company executives, corporate and business development leaders, medtech investors (angels, family offices, VCs, and private equity), investment banks, and others in the financial community.

Dedicated to exploring the transformative impact of digital innovations in the medical technology sector. Attendees can expect a focused exploration of how cutting-edge digital technologies are reshaping patient care, improving outcomes, and driving advancements in the medtech landscape. 

Examines issues important to the industry’s early and emerging innovators and key trends shaping the sector. Past sessions have offered practical insights on commercialization strategies for small companies, building effective teams through strong boards and governance, and navigating product development and clinical milestones that support fundraising. The track also addresses factors influencing investment and innovation, including strategic partnerships and alternative funding sources. Overall, it provides a focused, high-value look at the companies and ideas driving the next wave of medtech growth.

Prioritizes conversations on a health care system that promotes optimal health outcomes for all patients and includes conversation regarding the need for a more inclusive workforce to design and develop the products that patients receive.

Addresses global perspectives, challenges, and opportunities within the medical technology sector. Covers insights into navigating the complexities of operating in diverse international markets, understanding regulatory landscapes, and fostering cross-border partnerships. Whether you’re an international business executive, a policymaker, or a global health expert, this track provides a platform to explore the interconnected nature of the medtech industry on a global scale.  

Explores the cutting-edge technologies shaping the landscape of diagnostic medicine by bringing together clinicians, researchers, and industry professionals. Attendees can expect robust discussions aiming to foster diagnostics innovations, embrace scientific advances, and ensure swift access to accurate and reliable tests for all patients.   

Provides valuable insights into the legal intricacies shaping the medtech sector by gathering legal professionals, compliance experts, and industry leaders and executives.  Sessions provide in-depth discussions on navigating complex legal landscapes, maintaining regulatory compliance, and understanding the legal implications of innovations in medtech.  

Examines the dynamics of bringing medical technologies to market, securing payment mechanisms, and optimizing health care delivery. Industry leaders, policy makers, payers, and health care professionals discuss the complexities of market access, understanding payment structures, and leveraging innovative approaches to enhance the overall delivery of health care services.  

Discusses the development and implementation of technological initiatives and tools aimed at actively involving patients in their health care journey; leveraging medtech to create strategies, applications, platforms, and systems that enhance patient empowerment and overall participation in their care.
