What is the Next Generation HQ?

The Next Gen Program is a dedicated entry point to The MedTech Conference for professionals early in their medtech or healthcare careers. Designed to build industry fluency and confidence, the experience helps you better understand how the medtech ecosystem works—from innovation and regulation to commercialization and business strategy. With access to preconference preparation and an onsite welcome, you’ll arrive ready to navigate a largescale industry event with clarity and purpose. 

 

Inside the Next Gen HQ, you’ll find structured programming, curated networking opportunities, and a welcoming home base within the MedTech Campus—while also having full access to the broader conference. Who is eligible for the $500 Early Career All-Access Pass?

  • Early Medtech Career Professionals – Participants must be a professional with less than 5 years of experience in medtech, health care, biomedical engineering, or a related field.

How to Participate

  • I am registering independently as an employee of a Non-AdvaMed Member company:
      • Register online
      • Select “Early Career”
      • Pay the $500 fee
      • Your registration will then be reviewed by staff and you should receive a confirmation within 5 business days of your application.
  • I am registering independently as an employee of an AdvaMed Member company:
      • Register online
      • Select “Early Career”
      • Pay the $500 fee
        • Your company will be recognized as a Member Company and default to your organization’s registration member rate. If you are approved as a qualified Early Career participant, AdvaMed staff will update your registration record to reflect the discounted rate. 

FAQs

Is there a specific hotel block reserved for Early Career registrants?

There are discounted MedTech Conference room blocks available through registration, but no specific section is designated for Next Gen participants. You may book your hotel once you complete your registration. Visit our housing page for more information.

Unless you are receiving funding as part of an Industry Partner or Cohort, AdvaMed does not assist in travel or housing costs.

No, this is not a Career Fair so we suggest bringing a physical or virtual business card that allows access to your LinkedIn Profile, portfolio, etc.

While some companies may have recruiters onsite at the conference, recruiter presence within the Next Gen HQ is not guaranteed. This event is not a career fair, and participants are encouraged to focus on learning, networking, and exploring career paths through a wide range of conversations across the conference.
